Kathmandu: Classic View Resort, located in the Shivapuri National Park area, will now operate under the name ‘The Soaltee Resort’ after Soaltee Hotels & Resorts assumed management responsibility for the five-star luxury property.
The hotel management agreement was signed by Sudarshan Chapagain, Vice Chairman of Soaltee Hotel Limited, and Mukundaraj Kunwar, Chairman of Classic View Resort Limited.
Speaking on the occasion, Chapagain said that Soaltee Hotels & Resorts has been expanding its presence in new tourism destinations in recent years. According to him, the launch of The Soaltee Resort in Shivapuri adds another significant destination that combines luxury, nature, and wellness tourism.
He stated that Soaltee Hotels & Resorts is committed to promoting Nepal’s cultural, historical, and natural heritage while expanding its footprint across key tourist destinations and delivering world-class hospitality services.
Nestled amid the lush greenery of Shivapuri National Park, The Soaltee Resort offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. The resort aims to provide guests with a unique blend of natural beauty and luxury amenities, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.
According to a statement issued by Soaltee Hotel Limited, the resort will offer international-standard hospitality services alongside opportunities to experience wildlife, pristine natural surroundings, and breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley. The tranquil environment, fresh mountain air, and scenic landscapes are among its key attractions.
The resort currently features 25 well-appointed rooms and one private villa, while an additional 51 luxury rooms are under construction. Each room incorporates designs that reflect Nepalese art, culture, and identity.
For dining, guests can enjoy a variety of cuisines at the Gurans All-Day Dining Restaurant, relax at the Airak Bar, or experience outdoor dining at the Jungle Fire BBQ Terrace, which combines specialty grilled dishes with a natural forest setting.
The resort’s highlights also include access to fresh mountain air, natural spring water, and opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife observation in the surrounding area.
The Soaltee Resort Shivapuri also features a modern banquet hall, two open lawns, and an amphitheater, making it an ideal venue for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and retreat programs.
In addition, the resort offers a swimming pool, spa, steam room, sauna, and fitness center. Guests can also participate in activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife exploration.
