Washington D.C.- Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States, Lokdarshan Regmi, officially presented his letter of credence to U.S. President Donald Trump at a ceremony held yesterday at the White House.
During the credential ceremony, Ambassador Regmi conveyed well wishes for President Trump’s health, happiness, and successful tenure on behalf of the Nepali President, Prime Minister, and the people of Nepal.
Ambassador Regmi expressed his confidence that the strong bilateral relationship between Nepal and the U.S. would continue to grow and improve. He also extended gratitude for the U.S.’s ongoing assistance with Nepal’s development priorities, particularly in the social and economic sectors.
President Trump welcomed Ambassador Regmi and congratulated him on his new role. He affirmed his commitment to further strengthening the friendly and reciprocal ties between the two nations through collaborative efforts that align with their shared interests.
