June 4, 2025 – The MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI) rose by 0.2%, reaching 887.73 points, setting a new record high. This marks a breakthrough above its previous peak of 887.72, recorded in February 2025.

Despite this milestone, other major indices like the S&P 500 and Stoxx Europe 600 are still trailing their yearly highs. Both indices are currently more than 2% below the peaks they reached at the start of 2025.

Global equity markets, which experienced a correction in April, have since rebounded, with the MSCI ACWI leading the recovery. The index reflects performance across both developed and emerging markets and is often seen as a barometer for global investor sentiment.
