Kathmandu : The United States has launched bombing attacks targeting three Iranian nuclear facilities. The attacks were directed at nuclear centers located in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The assault occurred at around 5 AM Nepali time. Three hours after the attack, former President Donald Trump addressed the nation, claiming that Iran’s key nuclear facilities had been “eliminated”—meaning they were completely destroyed. A full payload of bombs was dropped on Fordow.
The US President warned Iran that it must now maintain peace, or it would face even greater attacks in the future.
Trump officially confirmed that the US had launched strikes on the three Iranian nuclear sites.
The attacks were carried out via aircraft, and all the planes had exited Iranian airspace after completing their mission. At Fordow—the primary target—a full payload of bombs was dropped.
Earlier, there were speculations about a US strike on Iran after B-2 stealth bombers, America’s most lethal aircraft, were deployed to Andersen Air Base in Guam. However, the real launch site of the B-2 bombers was the Diego Garcia Air Base, located on an island in the Indian Ocean. These bombers were reportedly dispatched specifically to destroy Iran’s highly secure Fordow nuclear facility. This facility is located approximately 90 meters underground and is believed to be vulnerable only to attacks from B-2 stealth bombers.
Meanwhile, Israel has continued its strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites, stating that it is prepared for a “long campaign” against Iran. So far, Israeli attacks have resulted in the deaths of 430 people in Iran.
Health officials have reported that more than 3,500 people have been injured in Israeli assaults in the region. In Israel, authorities have officially confirmed that at least 24 people have died since the conflict escalated last week.
