Jerusalem – Tensions between Iran and Israel escalated further on Saturday night as both countries launched multiple missile attacks against each other.
For the past 48 hours, intense conflict has been ongoing between the two nations. Israel claimed it targeted Iran’s Ministry of Defense located in Tehran.
In addition, Israeli forces reportedly struck oil depots and gas refineries in Tehran and Bushehr.
So far, 138 Iranians have been killed in the conflict, including 9 nuclear scientists and over 20 senior Iranian commanders. More than 350 others have been injured. Iran has activated its air defense systems in Tehran and across seven provinces.
In retaliation, Iran launched over 150 missiles into Israel. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 13 Israeli civilians and injuries to more than 300 people.
Iran has also claimed to have shot down three Israeli F-35 fighter jets.
