Birgunj. The Dry Port Customs Office in Birgunj Sirsia, Parsa district, has collected revenue of Rs 36.83 billion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
During this period, the Customs Office has collected 61.34 percent of its annual revenue target.
The Customs Office has informed that revenue collection was Rs 3.75 billion in the month of Shrawan, Rs 4.64 billion in Bhadra, Rs 4.36 billion in Asoj, and Rs 3.79 billion in Kartik. This office has collected revenue of Rs 3.22 billion in Mangsir, Rs 3.56 billion in Poush, Rs 4.29 billion in Magh, Rs 4.68 billion in Falgun, and Rs 4.50 billion in Chaitra.
The Department of Revenue has set a target of collecting Rs 60.04 billion in revenue from this port this fiscal year.
